Jazz I has released their 2011 CD “Pocket Full O’ Jazz.” It is an outstanding display of hard work and creativity that was brainstormed and executed by the entire group of students. It features world renowned jazz drummer Ed Soph and is only $15. Every penny benefits the entire Lake Highlands High school band program so don’t hesitate to purchase one. They are available in the store right next to Mr. Lara’s office, AKA the storage closet. To purchase one, just send a check with your child to Mr. Lara or just contact him directly at: mark.lara@risd.org or 469-593-1093. They will also be available at the final jazz concert of the year, Jazz Under the Stars on Mother’s Day, May 8th at 7:00pm in Wildcat Stadium. Enjoy!
